TM card, also known as Touch Memory card, is an IC card that uses a single line protocol for communication. The TM information button (TM card) serves as a unique identifier for identity or items, representing both the identity of a person and the name of a location or device. The chip of a TM card (or TM information button) has a unique code that can form a one-to-one correspondence with people, places, and devices.

What is a TM card?

The use range of TM information buttons (TM cards) is particularly wide (applied in various inspection systems such as smart communities, postal services, railways, fire protection, power, cable TV, chemical engineering, oil fields, and hotels, as well as TM door locks, TM water meters, TM electricity meters, and TM gas meters). The TM card integrated circuit chip is sealed in a stainless steel shell, which is waterproof, shockproof, corrosion-resistant, durable, and does not require wiring; TM cards are passive devices that rely on power from reading and writing devices to read information.
It is fully compatible with DS1990A-F5. Built in 64 bit binary code with laser engraving, the total number of codes can reach 280 trillion; The TM card chip has electrostatic protection function and uniqueness that cannot be replicated; TM cards can be used within the range of -40 ℃ to+85 ℃. Read only more than 350000 times and have a lifespan of over 20 years.
Installation method and requirements for TM information buttons:
Directly use adhesive (suitable for indoor smooth object surfaces); Place the attached fixing bracket on the TM information button, and use expansion bolts or steel nails to directly fix the TM information button to the surface of the object (suitable for outdoor use); For inspection work, when arranging TM location information buttons, it is necessary to ensure that the coverage is large and the order is reasonable to ensure that inspection personnel patrol every corner of the area under their jurisdiction, avoiding blind spots or patrol blind spots; How to choose a reasonable location for the TM information button? When installing, fix the TM information button at a height of about 1.4 meters, and be careful not to install it in areas with dripping water to avoid poor contact between the TM information button and the patrol stick (inspector) due to winter freezing.
Batch input of TM information buttons in management software:
Touch each TM information button once with a read-write device after clearing data, use the batch entry function in the management software to input all TM information buttons into the patrol management software of the management computer at once, and then input the actual name into the corresponding TM information button to ensure that the actual name corresponds one-to-one with the TM information button code (applicable to situations where a large number of information buttons are entered at once);
Manually input the product code on the TM information button into the computer’s management system software, and then ensure that the location information matches the TM information button code one by one (applicable when there are few TM information buttons or when a separate TM information button is added).
On site deployment follows the information corresponding to the TM information buttons in the management software of the management computer, and installs each TM information button in its corresponding position (try to install it in a location that is not easily damaged).
When the staff holds a reading and writing device to read and write at each location, touch the TM information button installed at that location with the reader. At this point, the reading and writing device will have sound and light prompts, and the reader will automatically store all the information of the TM information button in the memory of the handheld reading and writing device.
