RFID is a general term for radio frequency technology systems, and RFID cards are radio frequency cards. Radio frequency cards are chip cards that contain frequency sensing, and contain IC or ID chips. Currently, the cards available in the market can be classified according to frequency: low-frequency cards (ID cards 125K Hz), high-frequency cards (IC cards 13.56 MHz), and ultra-high frequency cards (915 MHz). In daily life, most membership cards belong to IC cards, such as public transportation cards, food sales cards, access control cards, etc., which can be IC cards or ID cards. The difference between IC cards and ID cards lies in the chips contained within the cards, which are difficult to distinguish from each other in appearance.
RFID cards can be divided into two types based on their size: standard cards and irregular cards. The standard card is easy to understand, which is the PVC card commonly seen, while the irregular card is relative to the ordinary card. The most familiar types are the 2nd and 3rd card deductions, which are the most widely used in domestic community access control. They can be used to swipe community access control or passage barriers. This function is the same as swiping a bus card on a rapid transit channel. The card used for rapid transit is an IC card, as the IC card has storage and confidentiality functions, which ID cards do not have.
Smart wrist strap
The smart wrist strap has a certain waterproof function and is easy to carry around. Smart wristbands include disposable and reusable wristbands. Disposable wristbands are widely used in the medical field, while reusable wristbands are widely used in projects such as bathing centers or water parks.
Drip adhesive card
This type of card is also quite popular in the market because of its exquisite appearance, which can be used as accessories, and also has the function of an RFID card. The production cycle of this type of card is relatively long, because the dripping process is a delicate thing. Generally, the manufacturer comes with a lifting rope for the dripping RFID card. Drip cards can be made into various shapes and sizes, and text patterns can be printed on them.
In addition to the standard cards, keychain cards, smart wrist straps, and drip cards introduced above, RFID cards also include electronic tags, NFC tags, leather case cards, coin cards, etc. It should be noted that magnetic stripe cards or PVC membership cards without chips do not belong to RFID cards. It is emphasized that RFID cards are radio frequency cards, and cards without frequency chips are not called RFID cards.
